We are an “Innovative Place of Learning” of the OTH Amberg-Weiden, which our WITRON employees as well as the OTH students benefit from: We offer practical orientation – the OTH academic further education.

Together we would like to link vocational and academic education and create new perspectives locally.

“The labor factor is currently the biggest obstacle to growth. To counteract the shortage of skilled workers, we focus on qualifications, lifelong learning and permeability. In doing so, we would like to link vocational and academic education more closely and, with Witron as a partner and ‘Innovative Learning Place’, we would also like to go down innovative paths,” says Professor Dr. Clemens Bulitta, President of OTH Amberg-Weiden, at the signing of the cooperation agreement.

“Educational biographies often lead to traditional vocational training. We want to create prospects and keep young people in our company and the region. With the OTH Amberg-Weiden as a close cooperation partner, we can improve the practice-oriented training of students, further qualify our employees and also make a contribution to optimal networking between university and regional economy,” says Johannes Meißner, Technical Managing Director of the WITRON Group.
